The second week of Advent focusses on Peace. Jesus came to bring peace in the midst of problems. He will return to bring an eternity of pure peace.

The first week of Advent focusses on Hope. Jesus’ birth brought hope to the world. As we look forward to His return, we have even more hope for the future.

There’s often a sense of loss once the Christmas holiday rush is over. But there doesn’t have to be a letdown in the Christmas joy.

Christmas isn’t just parties, presents, and pretty lights. It is God coming to our rescue, because He loves us.
